Grammy-nominated flutist Itai Kriss leads a stellar group made up of the best cuban and latin musicians in the New York scene in a show featuring beloved Cuban classics along with original songs by lead singer and tres player Yuniel Jimenez “El Poeta”, set in diverse rhythms which represent the rich traditions of cuban music and include the Guaracha, Bolero, Chá Chá Chá, Danzón, Timba, Salsa and Guajira. It's impossible not to start dancing to the tropical beat of the “Cubana Special” , as the music begins and the sounds and flavors of Cuba come to life.
