An Evening of Elegance and Love
Treat your special someone to an elegant romantic dinner accompanied by beautiful choreographic masterpieces!
Wings-In this ethereal ballet, inspired by Egrets birds delicate flight, choreographer Jill Eathorne Bahr sets her mesmerizing movements to Ernest Bloch’s enchanting “Concerto Grosso No.1”. As the curtain rises, dancers transform into Egrets at dawn, their wingspan echoing in leaps and turns. The piece celebrates both athleticism and serenity, leaving us breathless as the Egrets take flight once more.
In Collaboration with the Jacksonville Symphony, this New Work will be Avant-premiered in February at the Picinich-Byrd Theatre and in May at the Jacoby Hall with the Jacksonville Symphony for their program “Symphony in 60’. Serenade for String was composed by Antonin Dvorak in 1875. Choreographed by artistic director Roberto Forleo, this ballet is purely abstract and showcases the technical virtuosity of the dancers in a succession of 5 movements
