Admission Control

Barcodes and QR codes open up a new and inexpensive way to do admission control. All tickets, no-matter how they are purchased, include a unique bar code or/and QR code that can be scanned to validate the ticket's authenticity.

The admission control system also ensures that the ticket has not been copied allowing only one entry per ticket. Scanning and validating a ticket takes about the same time as tearing off the stub, yet it has the ability to keep track in real-time the number of patrons that have entered.

The admission control system is runs on Android devices; as well as a web-app that allows for the validation of a ticket barcode. These options allow our admission control system to be compatible with a wide range of hardware including smartphones, tablets, and portable scanners.
